Project Description:
A mobile app that aims to improve communication between less-than-truckload shipping freight truck drivers and their destinations.
Responsibilities and key challenges:
- Build a React Native mobile application for iOS and Android platforms
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education
- Effective communications in English
- 3+ years of commercial mobile app development
Demonstrated hands-on experience:
- React Native (iOS, Android)
- React
- JavaScript, TypeScript
- REST API
- Git
- UI/UX design and development
- Ability to write unit and integration tests for automated regression testing purposes
Familiarity with:
- common popular React Native libraries, components, and frameworks
- native mobile development
- NodeJS, Express
- MySQL
- Agile software development process
Would be a plus:
- Google Maps API
- OneSignal
- Twillio
- SendGrid
- Bug Snag
- Digital Ocean
