Andersen is hiring a QA Manual Engineer for a project developing a CRM platform to improve customer support and service processes.

The customer is one of Kazakhstan’s leading commercial banks. Serving over 3 million retail and corporate clients, it operates a nationwide network of branches and service outlets. The bank offers a comprehensive portfolio of financial services, including loans, cards, deposits, investment solutions, and digital banking tools. Systemically important within Kazakhstan’s financial sector, the customer continues to expand access to global markets and promote ESG initiatives.

The project is focused on developing a CRM solution that provides a unified workspace for customer care center employees, helping streamline communication, improve service processes, and enhance customer support efficiency.

A paid business trip to Almaty for 3 months is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing functional, integration, UI, API, and mobile testing.
  • Creating and maintaining test plans and test strategies.
  • Using DBMS and SQL for testing and data validation.
  • Testing REST APIs, working with HTTP/HTTPS, XML, and JSON.
  • Developing and implementing testing processes from scratch.

Must-haves:

  • Experience as a QA Engineer for 2+ years.
  • Confident use of DevTools.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Knowledge of testing types: functional, integration, regression, system, performance (at the planning level), and UI/UX testing.
  • Experience in writing test documentation: test cases, checklists, bug reports, and test plans.
  • Proficiency in test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, state transition testing, pairwise testing).
  • Understanding of risk-based testing and test prioritization.
  • Experience working with bug-tracking systems (Jira, YouTrack, Trello).
  • Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Qase).
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub).
  • Experience working with APIs (Postman, Swagger, Charles/Fiddler).
  • Experience with logging and backend monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, Sentry).
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL: SELECT, JOIN, filtering, aggregation).
  • Understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of networking: HTTP/HTTPS, REST, WebSocket, cookies, sessions.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and build systems.
  • Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
