We are looking for an AEM Frontend Developer

Mercury Development specializes in developing custom software for large startups; we employ over 400 highly qualified and skilled specialists working on dozens of interesting projects. Our apps are used by 40 million people all over the world! Many of our products have been featured on the App Store and covered by TechCrunch, Engadget, and Gizmodo. Our sales offices are located in New York, Miami, and Atlanta, and we have development centers in Serbia, Armenia, Argentina and Kazakhstan.

The project aims to accelerate the transformation of (NDA) platform to rival and surpass the competitors. The goal is to create an engaging, customer-friendly, and commercially viable website for one of the top cruise lines in the world that will give the company a competitive advantage in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities
AEM developers must be skilled in various technical abilities to complete the jobs and tasks described above. First and foremost, solid programming language expertise and competence in fields such as CMS development, Java content archives, and web service building are required.

You should also have excellent communication skills as a developer, as well as the ability to convert requirements and goals into precise programming objectives. It is also necessary to have a proactive mentality and the capacity to communicate and bring your ideas to completion.

Requirements

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
  • Experience of managing and administering AEM sites
  • Experience with AEM tools: Brackets Extension, FileVault Tool
  • Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Sass, W3C
  • Working knowledge of Linux environments
  • Working knowledge of Git
  • Expertise with cross web responsive development
  • Experience with HTL/Sightly templating language
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop to save pictures for web
  • Working knowledge of speed optimization such as YSlow or PageSpeed
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Adobe AEM certifications desirable but not necessary
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and teammates
